The flyer for the Council Wide Merit Badge University is here! There is a new venue – Southeastern Regional Vocational Tech High School in Easton. Hope everyone can attend this great event. All four districts have come together as one to plan this great opportunity for our scouts to earn their merit badges.

The Old Colony Council Venturing Ski trip & Snow fun weekends are coming. This event is open to all Scouts 14-20! The dates are Feb 20-21, 2010 and Feb 27-28, 2010. The cost is $70 per person, registration is required before 2/12/2010. Get the registration and flyer here.

The Boy Scouts of America is pleased to announce the release of the Scuba Diving merit badge. The official earn date of this merit badge is December 1, 2009. Pamphlets are available from your local council service center and scoutstuff.org orders - just in time for Christmas!

Wilderness First Aid Training is coming April 16th. There is limited space for this course so sign up early priority will be given to those crews/troops attending Philmont and Jamboree in 2010.

Cub Scouting is a year-round family program designed for boys who are in grade 1 through grade 5. Parents, leaders, and organizations work together to achieve the purposes of Cub Scouting.
Boy Scouting is a year-round program for boys around ages 11 - 17. Through the Boy Scout program, young men can achieve the core objectives of strengthening character, personal fitness and good citizenship.
Venturing is a youth development program of the Boy Scouts of America for young men and women who are around 14 through 20 years of age. Venturing's purpose is prepare young people to become responsible and caring adults.
